Heres a little tip when adding tags in
Windows Photo Gallery in Vista.
If you want to make the tags groupable, eg list places together, then you can do so
by formatting the tag as follows:
Places/Reading/Reading Festival;
On the left handside you will see the treeview contain subnodes
You can also drag & drop the nodes, which updates any photos with the tags.
I must say I am extremly impressed with the speed at which my tablet got fixed and
returned (in less pieces than it was sent to them in).
I'd heard stories of people not having their laptops returned from Toshiba for several
weeks/months but my experience says otherwise. The screen has been replaced so the
red lines have gone, and so have the dead pixels I once had. They also kindly replaced
the keyboard as the down cursor key had fallen off, which means I now have a new nipple
to caress with my index finger.
So back to Vista <3

If you are getting the following error in Internet Explorer when attempting to add
a GPolyLine to your google map via the API then make sure you have added the VML namespace
and CSS correctly.
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:v="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml">
<head>
<title>My page</title>
<style type="text/css">
v\:* {
behavior:url(#default#VML);
}
</style>
</head>
I've had the problem for a while and just made a 2nd look for the fix and found it
on the google
maps api group. I was missing out the xmlns:s namespace declaration.
If you get the following error when using Microsoft
Virtual Earth then check that you don't have an HTML element with an id of 'footer'.

I'm sure by now you've heard about
the Speech Recognition flaw in Windows
Vista (my mom knew about it before me...my excuse is I was busy working all day and
didn't have time to catch up on the news). The one that if a dodgy mp3 played on your
PC it could delete files. Here's how to do it:
Record a voice clip of yourself saying 'start listening' followed by 'delete everything'
(im unsure on the exact voice commands).
Send the recorded mp3 to a friend saying 'Lolz0r, l1st3n 2 d1s'.
Hope they have a microphone.
Hope they have a set of speakers.
Hope the speakers aren't muted in the...
